Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Appetizers
The ultimate Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno appetizer that's perfect for a Father's Day feast! Best with a bottle of ice cold beer!
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1 cup diced or shredded leftover chicken breasts or thigh fillets
- 1/2 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 12 pieces jalapeno peppers, halved lengthwise seeds and membranes removed
- 12 slices bacon
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Line a baking rack with parchment paper.
In a bowl, combine the chicken, cheddar, and cream cheese. Mix well.
Stuff the jalapenos with the cheese mixture.
Seal the jalapenos by wrapping each with a slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick as needed.
Brush the oven rack with olive oil. Arrange the bacon wrapped jalapenos on the oven rack and place on top of the baking sheet.
Bake for 15 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.
