Tips for Baking Cookies – Easy Recipe for Bakers
Do you like your cookies crispy or chewy? If you want them crispy, bake them for a few minutes longer. Just watch out that they don’t get burnt. If you prefer chewy cookies, chill the dough for about 30 minutes before baking the, in the oven.
Another trick I learned is to line the cookie sheet with parchment paper before placing the cookie dough. This prevents the cookie dough from spreading too thin. It’s also easier to transfer the cookies to a cooling rack if you line them with nonstick parchment paper.
When I don’t have pecans or chocolate chips available, I also experiment with other ingredients such as raisins or dried cranberries. I also like making these Chewy Oat Cookies, another healthy cookie recipe to satisfy my cravings without the guilt.
