This day is not ordinary. A dear friend of mine from way across the globe visited us for the first time. So, I am inspired to prepare a dish that is something new for her. Since this family loves bacon so much, I decided to incorporate it in today’s dinner plan that would be best to go with the Roast Spatchcock Turkey that my husband prepared. I’m glad that this is part of my Keto diet, and suited my friend who is on Paleo diet as well. Bacon is a low-carb meat so it’s safe to have it at least twice a week, just make sure to use the uncured version. This Keto-friendly dinner is not just delicious but perfect for our nutritional needs!
Keto-friendly Dinner Ready in a Jiffy!
This is why I love my baking pan set so much. I can prepare healthier meals in less time, too. One of the reasons why we came up with these baking pans is because we learned that roasting food in the oven is a healthier cooking alternative.
The great thing about this cooking method is that there are no oil splatters, no greasy smell, no smoke, and the bacon comes out crispy with less fat! It will also be ready in just 22 minutes! Make sure to serve it right away once cooked as the asparagus and bacon becomes soggy in a few minutes.
After cooking, you can just toss the oven rack in the dishwasher and hand wash the aluminum pan with no hassle!
Conclusion
This is one of my favorite low-carb meals. It’s so easy to prepare, plus the combination of crispy bacon and soft asparagus is perfect. You can even have it for lunch or serve it during family gatherings. This side dish is a hit, my friend loves it, so as the rest of my family.
