The Birth of the Cooling and Roasting Racks
The cooling and roasting racks are our first products and our bestseller, too! This “baby” was actually an accident LOL! My husband and I were just having our usual chat before bedtime and were talking about how difficult it was to keep on preparing and cooking food, especially when there’s work to do. Another factor was when I was cooking bacon and the oil kept on landing on my arms and face! It would be such a big help if there was another way to cook bacon!
We spent countless hours of research and purchased different cooking items. I even tried variations of cooking basic recipes such as bacon and vegetables. Thus, the cooling and roasting racks were born!
I also learned that there was an easier and healthier way to cook bacon!
Versatile and Multi-Purpose Cooling and Roasting Racks
What’s great about the cooling and roasting racks is that they are not just for cooking or baking. There are many uses for them. Here are just some of the many things you can use them for:
1. Use them as trivets for your pots or pans. Since the cooling racks have multiple welds and sturdy cross support bars, they won’t bend and break.
2. Use them to dry your dishes with. The cooling racks are made of 304-grade stainless steel which means they are rust-proof and corrosion-free.
3. Turn them into a jewelry organizer. They look classy and stylish that you can display them and they would look good!
4. Dicing avocados. The tight-grid pattern is perfect for making diced avocados for your guacamole or salad. Plus, the cooling racks are easy to clean — just immerse them in hot soapy water.
How to Maintain the Cooling and Roasting Racks
When I’m lazy or too tired to scrub the racks, I just soak them in hot soapy water overnight. If the stains are not too much, I just toss them in the dishwasher. Very easy to clean!
The great thing about them is that the smell and the grime don’t stick so you don’t have to scrub them too much. Another tip for stubborn grease is to sprinkle baking soda on the crevices, pour white vinegar on the, wait until it stops foaming then soak in hot soapy water. The grease and food residue easily comes off with just a scouring pad.
As you can see, the cooling racks still look good as new! I’ve been using them for almost 4 years now.
