Chocolates have always been popular treats enjoyed by millions because it is sweet, creamy, and sensually delicious. It is also believed as an aphrodisiac that escalates sparks of romantic feelings and makes one fearless. Chocolates, especially dark chocolate boosts serotonin, the body’s happy hormone. As there are so many beliefs about chocolates, let me tell you the benefits of eating them.
- Chocolates contain high levels of antioxidants that will make the body stronger.

- Unsweetened, 85-100% – Are bitter to taste but add the most intense chocolatey flavor to cookies.
- Bittersweet, 65-80% – Also used often for cooking purposes. 70% variety is the most recommended healthy form of a chocolate snack.
- Semi-sweet, 35-60%- Contains more sugar and is less healthy for those who want to avoid sugary snacks.
- Milk chocolate, 10-20%- The most popular but the least nutritional of all chocolates. However, everyone and their mothers will swear that this is the sweetest, most delicious snack in the world!

Dark Chocolate Treats
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup virgin coconut oil melted
- 5-6 tbsp maple syrup or honey
- In a bowl, whisk all ingredients together by hand or using a mixer, making sure that they are completely incorporated well.
- Carefully fill the “flowers and hearts” silicone chocolate molds with the combine chocolate mixture.
- Store in the freezer for about 2-3 hours or until solid.
- Package in a romantic box and add a cute ribbon.
