Here are some of the questions that our customers have presented.

If you have other questions, feel free to post a discussion on our Facebook account or send us an email at: sales@kitchenatics.com.

A: Before using, it is advisable to spray the cooling rack with a thin coat of olive oil to prevent any food from sticking. If using a baking pan, cover the pan with aluminum foil before placing the rack to clean the pan easily after cooking. If used for cooling, simply run it in a dishwasher. Do not use your rack in the microwave.

A: Fill the sheet pan or kitchen sink with hot water. Add a ½ cup of powdered or liquid dish detergent and baking soda. Add lemon juice for scent. Invert the cooling rack and submerge in the solution. Let it sit for 4 hours or overnight. With a dish brush or synthetic scrubbing pad, scrub the rack on both sides until all the oil and suds are removed. Rinse the rack with cold water after scrubbing. Thoroughly dry your cooling rack or throw it in the dishwasher. After soaking and scrubbing, the rack turns clean and looks like new again.

A: Due to aluminum construction, the pan is NOT dishwasher-safe, but is very easy to hand wash. Using a nylon pad or sponge, wash the pan in warm water with mild dish-washing soap.

For easy cleanup, cover the pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper before baking or roasting. Our baking pan can withstand heat for up to 500F / 260C. To extend the life of your pan, use only silicone, wooden or nylon utensils. Sharp metal kitchen utensils will ruin your pan. Do not use your baking pan and rack in the microwave.

A: Our silicone chocolate molds are 100% dishwasher-safe. After each use, simply throw it in the dishwasher or hand wash it using a mild detergent and warm water.

If youre having challenges, especially when using it to bake muffins and casserole dishes, you can place the silicone molds in the oven at 350°F (177°C) for about 10 minutes, and then soak it in hot water. Once soaked, all residue will start to loosen and eventually removed.

A: Never use abrasives

If theres one thing to avoid when cleaning silicone molds, that would be abrasives. Even if you encounter the most difficult stain, dont ever get tempted to use it as a solution. Doing so will only cause the silicone to flake off as well as remove its non-stick properties.

Skip the cooking sprays

Cooking sprays can build-up grease in the future. Our silicone mold is non-stick, so you dont really need them. Using cooking sprays will only lead to a sticky mess.

A: You can either wash it by hand using warm water and mild dishwashing detergent or simply throw it in the dishwasher.

A: Yes, all of our silicone products are safe to use. They are FDA-approved and LFGB-approved, which means they do not contain toxic materials and are reliable to use. You don’t have to worry about your family’s health when using our silicone trivets.
